Ayasa Copper is a stackable storage jar with an airtight wooden lid. Available in two sizes, each one is made on a traditional spinning machine and comes with a hand-turned lid made from Sheesham, an indigenous hardwood from India that is sustainably sourced. Available in two sizes, this jar is airtight and perfect for storing tea or coffee.

Product Specifications

Tiipoi's brass and copper products are not lacquered, which means that over time they will develop a patina on their surface. We do not recommend putting them into the dishwasher. You can remove any stains using a natural cleaning fluid made by simply mixing together salt, flour and white vinegar into a paste. Apply this using a non-abrasive scrubber with a good amount of pressure onto the surface until the patina begins to come away. Rinse with water and dry thoroughly before applying a few drops of coconut oil all over the product and removing any excess. This step is important because the coconut oil acts as a natural film, preventing it from tarnishing too quickly. You may prefer to use a stronger metal cleaner - we recommend FLITZ, which is an FDA-approved metal cleaning polish that has been categorised as food safe. Beeswax can also be applied to the lid to prevent it from drying out.
