As part of a new series; Meg Fatharly's is exploring ways of depicting the beauty and subtly of flowers through her art process of combining materials 

For February, the flower of the month is The Snowdrop. 

29cm x 21cm on a 300gsm Fabriano paper, this is an extremely limited edition embossing, collage and drawing of just 25.

Each one has been hand embossed, and its unique, combing collage fragments from monotype papers and a lush green ink greenery detail that has been a motif in Meg Fatharly's work for the last 5 years. 

About the Artist: Born in Edinburgh and raised by the coast, printmaker Meg Fatharly draws inspiration from everyday moments, creating intricate collages using handmade paper. Her signature style utilises traditional techniques and manipulated surfaces for playful textures and layering.
