New Season Trends You’ll Want To Know About
Excited for all that newness but unsure where to direct your enthusiasm? We've highlighted the best trends of the season to help you achieve a cohesive look.

The 1970s
If nostalgia is a recurring theme in interiors, this season we are pining back to the 1970s.
It started in Milan last year with brown - the colour du jour which also happened to define this era – and has been gathering momentum ever since. The theme continues with curvaceously sculpted furniture in rich and tactile fabrics (shearling, velvet, boucle and jacquard), alongside accessories including cushions adorned with tassels, fringed lampshades and handblown glassware (especially in golden tones of amber and rusty oranges). Rattan is going nowhere and taps easily into this look, and rugs are heavily textured (dare we say shag pile?).

Chrome (and Silver too)
Hot on the heels of 1970s comes chrome - including stainless steel and silver (let’s not split hairs, it’s as much about the vibe rather than simply the material). Ideal for adding a decorative, reflective element to minimalist interiors, chrome also brings a welcome edge to softer schemes.
