  • A space can be beautiful, but it is the layers of curated objects, collected over time, that make it a home.

Tips from the Experts

The most welcoming and interesting houses are those that tell a story of the owner’s life and interests. A space can be beautiful, but it is the layers of curated objects, collected over time, that make it a home.

We find ourselves constantly returning to the work of Jaime Parladé as a source of inspiration. His unassuming, comfortable yet wonderfully elegant interiors are a master class in curation.

The bones of a space whether a whole building or single room is paramount, never scrimp on this stage. You are better to spend your budget on the foundation of the space and wait to fully furnish it than to cut corners early on.
