My dream material to work with is one that already has a story—reclaimed wood, aged stone, anything with a sense of history built in. As a team originally from the East Coast, we’re especially drawn to the idea of a full-scale gut renovation there, where we could thoughtfully layer in salvaged materials that feel authentic to the architecture and its surroundings. There’s something incredibly meaningful about blending old and new in a way that honors the past while creating a home that feels deeply livable and relevant today.
