Tips from the Experts

Marble, Marble, Marble.. I love using soft, tactile, natural materials, and marble is basically nature's candy. Once it's installed, don't be too precious with it patina adds character and every etching tells the story of your home.

Scrap traditional ceiling spotlights in lieu of beautiful mood lighting. Just because it's practical, doesn't mean it needs to look so. Gently illuminate your spaces with flush-mount or directional lighting fixtures to add warmth and a sense of intentional moodiness to every corner of your home. This works particularly well this textured limewashed or plastered walls as accentuates their cloudy welcoming effect.

If you fall in love with a piece, buy it. You can always find a way to integrate it into your space. I love to collect furniture and accessories whenever I travel. Integrating vintage, curated pieces that you have collected over time will make your space feel so much more authentic and special. Essentially, nothing is wrong or out of place if you love it.

I love seventies colour palette, and for me warm, rich woody tones will never be old. I like any space that makes me think of warmer climates and feel like i've stepped into the sunshine. Chrome is just not for me, it has it's place in design, but i don't want to build homes that feel overly stark and cold. For me, warmth is key and it's what we gravitate towards in all our designs.
