Tigers of Tibet Rug

Tigers of Tibet is a refined interpretation of the mythical creature long celebrated in ancient Tibetan art and symbolism. Hand-knotted in a neutral palette with soft blue and pink accents, this rug offers a striking balance of elegance, history, and contemporary design. Ideal as the foundation and focal point of any room.

Each piece is custom-designed and hand-crafted to order. Due to the handmade nature, slight variations in color and scale are to be expected.

  • 3x5' – 9–10 weeks

  • 4x6' – 9–10 weeks

  • 5x7' – 10–11 weeks

  • 8x10' – 12–14 weeks

  • 9x12' – 14–16 weeks

  • 2.5x10' – 9–10 weeks

Material: 100% Hand-Knotted Wool

Rugs are produced in small batches, and limited quantities are held in stock. All sizes are made to order unless otherwise noted. Lead times are approximate and may vary slightly. Samples are not currently available, but questions about the design, material, or construction are welcome. Custom sizes or colorways can also be created upon request.

Care Instructions

Vacuum regularly on a low-power setting; avoid vacuuming the fringe

Blot spills immediately with a clean, undyed towel — do not scrub

For set-in stains, professional rug cleaning is recommended

Use rug protectors under heavy furniture to prevent crushing of the pile

Rotate periodically to reduce uneven wear

Some shedding is normal and will lessen over time

Do not pull loose yarns — trim with scissors if needed
