Melanie Rumball is a South East London-based ceramicist born and raised in France within a family of creatives with a lifelong passion for nature, animals, and crafts. Trained through courses at Morley College and as a permanent member of The Kiln Rooms since 2015, she combines pottery wheel throwing with a primary love for hand-building to create organic, tactile pieces. Drawing inspiration from nature, naive art, and legendary modern artists like Matisse, Picasso, Cocteau, and Brancusi, she crafts expressive, soulful ceramics designed to bring warmth and artistic character into the home.
