Studio George
Studio George creates layered, story-led interiors that are as personal as they are playful - spaces that feel lived-in, collected and unexpected. Blending colour, texture and pieces gathered over time, each project balances old and new to reflect the lives, memories and quirks of its inhabitants.

Design & Projects
Studio George's work is characterised by a sense of individuality and quiet confidence - spaces that feel distinctive without being overdesigned. The studio is drawn to thoughtful contrasts, combining periods, materials and tones in a way that feels natural yet unexpected. There’s an emphasis on atmosphere and feeling, creating interiors that are inviting, expressive and enduring. Each project is guided by a desire to make spaces that feel authentic, comfortable and subtly surprising, with details that reveal themselves over time.

Meet The Designer
Our core philosophy is to tell our client’s story through design so that it truly represents who they are, where they’ve been and where they want to be.
As such, at Studio George there is no house style and no two projects are the same. We have a method which enables our clients to realise their own distinctive world, aiming to create spaces that feel evolved over time.

Tips from the Experts
My dream material or product to work with
There are so many on our dream list! In terms of hard finishes, it's got to be Pyrolave - we try and get it into most of our projects but the high price tag makes it a hard sell! And for furniture we'd love to get anything by Mattia Bonetti into a project - his designs are super luxurious but always have an interesting quirk that makes you look twice.
My favourite hack as an interior designer
If budgets are tight we use plain fabrics for curtains, and more expensive ones for cushions & blinds - you don't need as much of the fabric but you still get the impact of the designs into the scheme.
The one thing I always tell my clients
We live and die by the theory of the iron triangle. On each side sits Time, Money and Quality - for example if you want good quality you have to allocate sufficient time and money, if you want things fast and cheap, the quality will be low, and so on...as long as everyone is on board with that then we're good to go!
Trend I love and one I avoid
We really try to avoid trends as they often don't stand the test of time - we always look back at our archive of magazines, which date back to the 70s, and see what feels right still, what's stood the test of time.
