Robin Henry Studio
At Robin Henry Studio, we believe the invention of one’s home should be an act of self-expression, connecting our daily surroundings to our emotions. The goal of our team is to work side by side with clients to convey their vision and personality through gorgeous, expressive, thoughtful, orderly and appropriate spaces. Rooms are brought to life with unexpected details, simple but delightful gestures, good taste, and respect for vernacular.

Robin Henry Studio
Design & Projects
Robin often tells clients that beauty has an energy. It's real. How do you know the room is beautiful? Because you can feel it. Beyond that, one must only consider what the room, the house, wants to be. How best to show it off? What will make each space feel useful, intentional, bright? What is authentic and interesting here?

Tips from the Experts
My dream material or product to work with
After visiting the Villa Kerylos, I think it would be such fun to do an exquisite mosaic floor, but interpreted for America. Maybe it's just a sprinkling of flowers strewn across an entryway, something charming and small but with personality. And maybe a fountain!
My favourite hack as an interior designer
Start with one interesting piece, either something overscaled or antique, or with a terrific color, and build the room around that.
The one thing I always tell my clients
Well, we tell clients a lot of things but a big one is "leave some room for the angels." Meaning, there is a bit of uncertainty, yes, not everything is completely sewn up when you start, but that is where the magic comes in.
Trend I love and one I avoid
There is a trend towards using very personalized and custom details that lend a sense of place and set the project apart from everything else, that is beautiful to see. If you are hiring a decorator, it should look less like everyone else's home, not more! To that end, we avoid the sameness of social media design. Yes use these platforms for ideas and finding gorgeous products, but there should be a focus on using them interestingly!
