Deep Cocoa meets a soft Plaster Pink in a refined, narrow stripe. Hand-wrapped loop by loop onto a classic drum frame, this made-to-measure shade combines a clean, tailored silhouette with a warm, subtle contrast designed to add gentle texture and depth.

Each piece is custom made to order in their studio with a lead time of 2–3 weeks.

Please note images show their Medium size shade. Lampshades shown in different degrees of natural sunlight to show how colours vary under different light settings. Stripe widths will be scaled proportionally to match your chosen frame size.

Duplex fitting on all sizes require an accessory. To use this shade on a lamp base you will need to purchase a shade carrier. For a ceiling pendant, a spider fitting is required.

Small - 10.7cm duplex ring  They recommend a 4” shade carrier

Medium - 10.7cm duplex ring They recommend a 6” shade carrier

Large - 10.7cm duplex ring They recommend a  8” shade carrier

X Large - 10.7cm duplex ring They recommend a 10” shade carrier

Every Slice Shade is individually crafted one strand at a time in their studio. This is a handmade product so naturally has character imperfections which make it unique and is an ode to the slow handmade weaving process.

During transit, the yarn strands may shift slightly. Simply guide the strands back into alignment with your fingertips upon unboxing to restore the clean stripe spacing.

Every shade is professionally treated with a premium fire-retardant spray.

To keep your shade cool and protect the vibrancy of the yarn fibres, they highly recommend using a modern LED candle bulb (or a maximum 40W equivalent).

Slice Shades was founded by Designer Alice to bring bold, structured colour and tactile warmth into interiors through design-led, handwoven lighting. Hand-crafted strand by strand in our studio, each shade turns soft yarn and bold colour into functional art built on circular thinking and slow craft.

Delivery times may vary make sure to check our estimated lead time on each product page. Once your order is dispatched you will receive your tracking information by email.

Most of our products are eligible for return within 14 days of delivery. If your product is made to order, we cannot accept any returns. Make sure to check the delivery and return section on each product page for more information.

Our brands are located all over the world, and in some cases, you will be required to pay customs fees. Refer to the country of origin of each product on their product page. Depending on your delivery location custom fees might be payable. Refer to our delivery policy here
