Kokoro Studio
Launched in 2021 by two multidisciplinary designers, from Turkey and Japan, based in London, Kokoro stands out with its vibrant colours, dynamic forms, and joyful aesthetic. Their first design initiative, KoKo, draws inspiration from Japan's centuries-old Kokeshi dolls, which symbolize goodwill and strong bonds. The Japanese word "Ko," meaning child, combined with Kokoro's "Ko," gave rise to the KoKo series, which aims to raise awareness of the challenges faced by girls deprived of basic needs and education.
