In the 1920s in Greece, the art of cement tiles was very popular and these tiles created the floors of many government and cultural buildings in Athens such as theatres. Over the years, as the aesthetic changed in the country, tiles were removed, and Anthologist were lucky enough to amass a very large, collection of salvaged tiles.
