An extremely rare find, this hand-stitched textile from the island of Crete is a technical crochet embroidery, handmade on a wood frame. Its size is ideal for a wall hanging, or like Anthologist’s founder recommends, frame it in a contrasting textile for a vintage accent in a contemporary space. Each entirely unique, Anthologist’s textiles are a coveted collection of those sought-after, magazine page-worthy pieces that are sure sell-outs. All of our stock is sourced from personal collections of the highest quality craftsmanship, with each piece hand-chosen by our founder based on rarity, provenance, and artisanal integrity. When sourced, most textiles remain NFS (not for sale) in our founder’s personal collection, with each piece slowly released into the inventory on an ongoing basis.

Cretan Malia Park uses traditional materials, textures, and colours of Crete, as well as curious indigenous objects to curate a warm atmosphere. Walnut, chestnut, and bamboo combine with rattan, ceramic, stone, and brass to create a palette of wood tones, mustard yellow, copper-red, blue, green, and orange that imparts a relaxed, boho mood in the bright, airy rooms. Murals artistically bring the nature of Crete inside the living spaces and serve as main focal points for the interior design.
