Its altered construction, however, offers a practical advantage: due to the opening on one side, the tables can be pulled over the edge of a sofa, armchair or bed. Otherwise, they can be conveniently pushed into one another. The Thonet design from 1933 is among the classics of tubular steel furniture. Frames tubular steel chrome-plated or lacquered in various colors, wooden elements in stained beech in various colors.
