MEDITATIVE LANDSCAPES is a new series of AI-generated artwork, created by Culture A Editions. In collaboration with a computer vision engineer, we trained an algorithm on a curated dataset of over 10,000 open access art images. For over six months, we edited and refined the criteria of the images produced by the AI in order to ultimately achieve the color, composition, and subject matter inspired by impressionist landscapes, abstract art, and color field painting. Human and Nature, Nature and Machine: these prints reveal the ever-evolving dynamic between these forces. Each print is embossed with the Culture A Editions stamp and numbered according to the edition.
