Nothing better than serving your dishes straight from the stove to the table. Indigena’s black pottery is hand made in Colombia, using dried spices which gives them the black colour. Every piece is one of a kind with small variations in size and shape.

The Colombian artisans find the special clay on the shores of the Rio Magdalena river. Every piece is dried in the sun and then polished with specially selected pebbles. After that, they are baked at very high temperature and smoked with dried spices. That gives them the black color.

Each piece of Indigena pottery is suited for every heat source, except for induction.
