When we set out to design our votive, Siafu Home wanted to create a piece that warmed up a space and drew people to gather around. Our nyota votive (nyota is Swahili for star) was inspired by the African night sky, so brilliantly lit by stars that you almost feel as though the earth was wrapped in one of Josephine Baker’s twinkling dresses.
