How to make a Pimm’s fit for the Jubilee

Sunny days and a full 96 hours outside of the office. It could only mean one thing and one thing only: Pimm’s, Pimm’s, Pimm’s. Whether you’re organising a round-robin tennis tournament or lounging on the balcony this bank holiday weekend. There’s nothing better to keep you liquid in honour of dear sweet Lizzie than a classic Pimm’s Cup.

For the none Brit’s you might want to get some knowledge here.

Deceptively simple, the quintessentially British summer bev’ requires a little extra care to become truly stellar.

Freshly squeezed lemons (we like Meyer if you can find them).

San Pellegrino Limonata (the perfect, tight bubbles and a refreshing zing).

Ice (we’re partial to those serious single cubes often spotted in an Old Fashioned) are swirled together with good old Pimm’s No. 1.

As with most things, presentation is everything, so do not dare skip the garnish (fresh mint, tarragon, cucumbers, and ruby-red British strawberries are our go-to). And never underestimate the power of quality glassware; delicate, blush-hued pitchers and etched glasses are just the tickets to elevate your new favourite drink.
