Flân’ Club: Hotel Pacai, Vilnius

Lithuanian architect Saulius Mikštas and design studio have transformed this 17th Century baroque mansion in Vilnius, famous for being the most magnificent mansion in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, into a luxurious modern hotel. Discover the five star hotel below.

Set in the heart of Vilnius’ Old Town—home to a university, a presidential palace, and an abundance of museums, embassies, churches, bookshops, and the city’s coolest spots for dining and drinking—Hotel Pacai perfectly echoes this quarter’s 17th-century Baroque grandeur yet augments it with a contemporary twist.

The Hotel Pacai is based around a large central courtyard, with its 104 bedrooms all featuring high-end touches including tufted leather, midcentury furniture, and marble benches.

The stand-out feature is the way that the building’s history sits alongside modern fittings. Rooms throughout the hotel all feature original features, including exposed original brickwork, cracking plaster, historic frescos, and grand marble walls.
