Art print design by Candice Perese for Hôtel Magique.

Totem was created using many layers of colour to create depth in the organic shapes that form the totemic-looking gateway.
Many varying ranges of colour overlaid with darker shades, like a veil.
The original artwork for the Totem art print was handmade with a wax pencil on heavy-weight ‘Hot pressed’ paper.

Hôtel Magique art prints are printed in the Netherlands on 250 and 300 gsm FSC and PEFC-certified Biotop paper.
Size A3 is available unframed or framed with our signature matt black aluminium, natural white aluminium, oak wood, or slightly darker mahogany wood finish frames.
Size A2 is available unframed or framed with our signature matt black aluminium or oak wood finish frames.

Candice Perese is an artist from New Zealand currently residing in Australia.
With a background in painting that has evolved over the last 4 years as a drawing practice she primarily uses heavy-weight fine art paper and coloured wax pencil. 
Her work is heavily colour based and subject matter varies but mostly rests on bold and graphic abstract forms, patterns, and gradients.
